In August 2014, the Islamic State captured Sinjar, the main city of the Yazidi population in Iraq. The minority, which professes a pre-Islamic religion, was one of the objectives of extermination of Daesh. Four years later, with the liberated city and the media focus kept away, they face a great challenge: how to rebuild a city in ruins.
